Either you're completely new to horseback riding, or you don't have a lot of experience yet. Horsemanship will develop safe handling skills both on the ground and in the saddle. You will be required to demonstrate these skills to skip this level if entering our program with prior experience.
Your instructor has told you that you have mastered Horsemanship. You’re comfortable grabbing your horse, tacking it up, and getting to the arena all on your own. You can ride a horse comfortably at a walk and trot while steering in an arena with other riders. You’re ready to focus on cantering and basic ring maneuvers.
Your instructor has told you that you have mastered Level 1 and you’re comfortable riding a horse at a walk, trot, and canter. You’re ready to develop knowledge of more complex maneuvers both on the ground and in the saddle.
Your instructor has told you that you have mastered Level 2. You’re ready to further develop pieces of the puzzle including concepts of collection, flexion, suppleness, and extension through more advanced lateral movements, aids, and feel. If this is the level for you, please email us to sign up.
Your instructor has told you that you have mastered Level 3. You’re ready to further develop within a more specific discipline. You must have been in our program to be placed within any of these lesson groups as we want to ensure the basics are developed correctly. If this is the level for you, please email us to sign up.
